Antequera / El Torcal Aug 2022

It was a hot August day and we decided to escape the heat. We headed up to Antequera and El Torcal. It takes around 1.5 hours to Antequera from Casa Linnea. We pre-booked a guidad walk, but it is allowed to walk in the park without a guide. Dogs can be in the area but led. Antequera lies 47 km north of the city of Málaga on the A45 highway, at the foot of the mountain ranges of El Torcal and Sierra de la Chimenea, 575 m above the sea level. El Torcal has beautiful, unique landscapes of the Antequera Natural Park. We also walked around the city of Antequera which had many wonderful architectural developments. At El Torcal we took some stunning photography highlighting the park's dramatic limestone formations and diverse flora and fauna. Click the links below to learn more about El Torcal and Antequera.
